Recently I bought a TracFone for my 78 year old grandfather.  It’s the first time in his life where he’s owned a phone that could be taken outside of his house (and still had reception).  Upon buying the phone, I ran into a bunch of issues setting it up which caused me to call the TracFone customer service line.  From what I can tell, the customer service line is somewhere in India and employs people who just graduated from English 101.  Being a pastor and constantly being in fear that I’m on a hidden camera show and having the less-than-savory moments of my life exploited (esp. ones where I’m exchanging words with Engrish-speaking Indians), I kept my cool throughout the multiple conversations but it left me very frustrated.  All that to say, I resonate with this guy’s phone call and frustration.  RSS subscribers might need to click on the post to see the embedded video…
